Background
Central Africa as other Africa building blocks accounts for only 4% of global greenhouse gas emission (GHG), whereas it remains among the most vulnerable regions to the adverse impacts of climate change, owing to its limited adaptive capacity. More than 70% of natural disasters in the sub region are of meteorological origin.
